Day Three
Sunday morning.....we all got up and had breakfast. The one meal the kids are starving for and love to eat! I made pancakes for breakfast and then got all of us ready for church. Greg stayed home with Wyatt, which was a blessing for me as I wasn't sure how to manage all of it (I have a huge respect for what Aimee does each Sunday!!!). Anyway no time for morning pictures.... After we came home, Papa Greg and Rusty left for Oregon and we settled into a quiet day. Wyatt kept us all entertained....he loves, loves, loves the glass mixing bowl and wooden spoons. Who needs expensive toys, anyway?!!??
Here's the happy boy!
Our craft project was tie-dying t-shirts. I "stole" a onsie from Wyatt's closet and we got creative. Meysa wanted hers to all different colors.
Ayden just wanted circles
Lauryn wanted to be just like Meysa!
Believe it or not, these are the t-shirts just "resting." We let them sit for 8 hours and then washed them. Stayed tuned for the results.....(that would be day 7!)
I found Colorforms at Toys R Us and bought them for the kids. These were the type of sticker books I had when I was little and it was fun to see them back in the stores. This fun activity was Lauryn's favorite and kept her entertained for hours during the week.
We told stories with Dora and Diego and even Thomas and the Train got put in a tree with Swiper! (Those of you who don't know about these characters need to spend some time with little ones.....I love Dora!) After dinner it was another movie, or should I say, the same movie...UP! By this time, Ayden and Meysa were reciting the movie lines right along with the characters. Great movie!
