We celebrated our December date in Portland. It was absolutely the best date of them all. We decided in August to purchase tickets to see Aaron Meyer, a rock violinist. Since the concert was at 8pm, we chose to stay overnight at a very nice hotel in Portland. The Hotel Vintage Plaza has been fully restored and is quite the place to stay. We loved the quaint yet modern feel to this place. It's located right downtown, so once we parked the car, everything was explored on foot!
This is the view looking up from our inside balcony area. We stayed in a room that was once Michael Jordan's loft of his suite of rooms. (He owned the 7th and 8th floors.)
Our room was huge! King-sized bed and very large sitting area, not to mention a garden spa tub that was 4 feet deep! Quite the luxury!
Which way do we go??!!! This street post is located across from the courthouse...any coincidence?? We laughed at the irony of it!

These dates have been so much fun! I'm now busy making a scrapbook of the year and we are planning for more exciting dates for 2010!
