Day Five

We settling into a nice routine; breakfast, getting ready for school and morning play time is going well. At least we are seeming to have a good time....well, at least Wyatt is enjoying snack time! He decided yogurt was just as good as a facial.....mmmmm....might have to try this!!
The biggest bummer is all the rain that has been falling. But finally, we are able to enjoy a bit of blue sky.
Lauryn decided a sun nap was in order.....am I wearing these kids out???
The kids were really excited to see their pond back....it had dried up. But with all the rain, here it was again.

Our afternoon craft activity was making clay erasers. I found clay that once it was baked could be used as erasers. Not sure how well this will work for actually erasing, but we had fun making it.
After dinner it was time for tunes and then off to Cub Scouts with Ayden. He was quite the independent young man. He really helped out and got things organized. Too bad Grandma was not so organized....the windows in the van had fogged up as we started out..way too much humidity in the air...and I couldn't quite figure out how to get them unfogged (finally resorted to a towel and the old fashioned wiping them down!), but Ayden ended up being about 5 minutes late to his meeting. Good sport that he was, he just said "that's okay, Grandma!"
No movie tonight but it was baths and bed shortly after we got Ayden home. And then it was relaxing time in the tub for me with a good book. Another day is behind us. Wonder how Aimee and Ryan are liking that sunshine and warm weather???!!!!!
