In hot water!

It never has failed us....Murphy's law, that is! We finally were making significant progress on the master bathroom.....and then it happened. Our water heater was putting forth green gunk! It was, however, hot! So we explored the option of a tankless water heater, but again Murphy decided to make his stay a little longer! We found out our gas line was not big enough and it would be well over $15,000 to put in the correct lines. Soooooo....we decided an energy efficient, albeit electric heater, was the way to go. It would take many, many years to make up the cost difference! So once the old water heater was out, we decided a new floor should go in. I did not argue at all to keep the pink linoleum! We put in tile linoleum squares and thanks to Ryan and Aimee's input and experience, we found that we accomplished the new floor (or at least the part where the water heater and laundry unit were) in less than a day! We showed Mr. Murphy the door and told him STAY OUT!!!! Whew, now it's back to the master bath!
Yes, we are back in hot water! It wasn't too bad to be without it for less than 24 hours.
We are planning on finishing the laundry room once the master bath is done. Can't wait! (Please sense the sarcasm!)
