Celebrations!

It has been a wonderful month of celebrating! Dad turned 75 in April; he had a grand party and we had lots of fun! The best part was seeing his reaction to his dad's pocket watch that Mom and I had conspired to have restored. He remembered the watch and was so glad to have it back! It has been in pieces for years. In May we celebrated Beth's "coming of age" - she turned the ripe ol' age of 50! Welcome to the good times, Beth! And then came Lauryn's birthday on the same day as Mother's Day! We did get to visit for a short while with Aimee and Ryan on Mother's Day so that made it special. All in all, a great month!


The pocket watch belonged to my dad's dad - it's truly a timepiece.
The gathering of the clan for Beth's birthday dinner....she opted for East West Cafe in Tacoma and the specialty is Thai food....YUM!
She who has the most material wins!!! Mom has more quilting to do!
